Dr. Ravindra Arali, an expert in the field of Obstetrics & Gynecology, is a renowned public figure in Jath, Solapur, Akkalkot, Mangalaweda, Sangola, Bijapur, Shindagi, Indi, Belgaum, Athani, Bagalkot, Jamakhandi & Sangli district. Dr. Arali founded Uma Charitable Trust and started Uma Hospital and Ultrasound centre, Uma Charitable Trust’s  Uma Hospital and research centre and postgraduate institute, Shantabai Shivshankar Arali Multispeciality Hospital and Shantabai Shivshankar Arali Ayurvedic Hospital in Jath. He is also the pioneer of staring one of the first multispeciality hospitals in the area -  Uma Hospital, a 300 bed state-of-art multispeciality hospital in Jath which is a renowned healthcare facility known for its patient-centric approach and where patients benefit from Rajeev Gandhi Jeevandayi Arogya Yojana.
Dr. Arali is an academician at his core. The Uma Hospital offers academic courses DGO By College of Physician and Surgeon Mumbai (CPS),  and Diploma in Reproductive and Child Health (DRCH). He also started Uma Institute of Nursing Education which is recognized by Indian Nursing Council. The institute offers RANM and RGNM courses. This educational unit is recognized by Govt. of Maharashtra, Maharashtra Nursing Council and Mumbai & approved by Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi. The institute has highly qualified, well experienced staff.
